Summary:

The Group Facilitator is responsible for providing group therapy to clients in CT Renaissance's residential program. The Group Facilitator will deliver person-centered, culturally-responsive, trauma-informed services for individuals with substance use and/or co-occurring disorders. Interventions delivered will include, but not be limited to psychoeducational groups, skill building, recovery skills, relapse prevention, and co-occurring disorders. Facilitator is responsible for managing and delivering group content, maintaining client documentation and meeting funder requirements for service delivery.

Summary:

The Residential Clinician is responsible for providing direct and indirect residential clinical services to individuals with substance use and/or co-occurring disorders. Direct services include but are not limited to assessment, treatment planning, individual, group and family counseling, and discharge planning. Indirect services include supervision, staff meetings, trainings, residential operation, answering phone calls, treatment authorizations, collaborating with outside providers, and all paperwork, reporting and documentation associated with client care. This position collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team to create an individualized recovery program for each client.

Summary:

The LYNC Transportation Case Aide is responsible for transporting youth and their families to and from LYNC programming. As with all LYNC team members the Transportation Case Aide will be informed on cultural, gender and trauma responsive approaches to youth and their families.

The LYNC Service Specialist functions as a resource and intervention specialist to youth enrolled in the program by connecting youth to community resources and facilitating cognitive behavioral and life skill groups. The Residential Manager provides operational management and oversight for residential programs, assisting the Director of Residential Treatment in ensuring consistent staffing coverage and compliance with internal and external requirements. Responsibilities include the planning, coordination, and management of day-to-day aspects of residential scheduling amongst non-clinical staff, shift coverage for planned and unplanned absences, time off requests and approvals of non-clinical staff and timecard management. This position will collect outcomes measures throughout residential programming, coordinate with program leadership and engage staff while actively incorporating results into programming. Reporting to the Director of Residential Treatment and working alongside Program Directors, he/she shall provide supervision and oversight of shift supervisors and non-clinical support staff as assigned ensuring compliance with agency policies and procedures.

The Unit Supervisor will be in compliance with all guidelines imposed by the Department of Corrections.?

The Program Director of Community Release Program directly manages the Work Release Program in Bridgeport and is responsible for the management of all staffing at that facility. The position will be responsible to ensure that the Work Release Program is coordinated and operated in a manner consistent with Connecticut Renaissance Policies & Procedures and the requirements of the Department of Correction. He/she will report to the Director of Community Release Programs. This position requires interactions with all levels of management and personnel to identify and resolve operational, outcomes and customer satisfaction issues in a timely and efficient manner.

The Program Director will ensure that the program is coordinated and operated in a manner consistent with Connecticut Renaissance Policies and Procedures, federal and state regulations, and the requirements of DPH, DSS, DMHAS, CSSD and DOC as appropriate. This position requires interactions with all levels of management and personnel to identify and resolve operational, outcomes and customer satisfaction issues in a timely and efficient manner. The Program Director leads a multi-disciplinary staff and will maintain current knowledge of the biological and psychosocial dimensions of substance use, mental health and co-occurring disorders, including diagnosis, assessment and treatment. This position requires being on-site 40 hours per week with at least one evening shift per week.

The Residential Transportation Specialist is responsible for transporting program clients to and from appointments in the community, court appearances, probation offices, offsite evaluations and other community locations as directed. The Residential Transportation Specialist will be knowledgeable of transportation safety, and will practice cultural, gender and trauma responsive approaches appropriate to clients in residential care.

Summary:

• The Residential Registered Nurse (RN) position is responsible for conducting alcohol or other drug-focused nursing assessments for clients in the residential treatment program, providing integrated nursing care that addresses substance use, mental health, co-occurring and general healthcare needs and monitoring individual client progress. The Residential RN will also monitor client self-administration of medications. Additional responsibilities include daily milieu management to provide a safe and therapeutic environment; ordering medication, supplies, counting meds at shift change, and carrying out medical staff orders. The RN works under the direction and orders of the medical staff (NP/PA/MD) and in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary treatment team to ensure quality of care delivered to clients within the program. The provider of such services should be knowledgeable about addiction treatment, especially pharmacotherapies.
